The York County 4-H Journalism Project is an exciting opportunity for youth to develop skills in reporting, photography, and writing while capturing the highlights of York County 4-H events! Participants will act as 4-H reporters, attending events, taking photographs, and writing articles that will be featured on the project website.

Youth ages 12 - 18 are invited to participate!

Key Details:

Project Kick-Off Meeting: February 4th, 2025 at 6:00 PM (in-person).
Monthly Zoom Meetings: Held on the last Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM, February through August, to discuss assignments and provide support.
Registration Deadline: January 31st, 2025.

A project book full of helpful resources to guide participants in their journalism journey
Official 4-H press passes
A project t-shirt

Membership requirement: Current 4-H membership in 4HOnline is required for participation in this project.

Custodial Care: Please note that this event and its coordinators do not assume custodial care of youth in attendance. Adults (parents, guardians, volunteers, coaches, teachers, or other chaperones) must be present for the supervision of youth participants.
